Tania Tania Andrusiak is lead author of ‘Adproofing your kids: Raising critical thinkers in a media-saturated world’ (Finch Publishing, 2009) and contributor to the recently published anthology, ‘Getting Real: Challenging the sexualisation of girls’ (Spinifex Press, 2009). Tania has worked in advertising and multimedia development, sub-edited Oxfam Australia’s Youth Guide to Globalisation and her work has appeared in magazines, newspapers and on the web for over 10 years, including The Age, Eureka Street, Online Opinion and Mercator.net.
Join Tania to find out how to help your kids avoid being hypnotised by advertising, and also how Tania has fared in the world of non fiction writing and publishing.
Tania will be followed by an open mic reading, so bring your prose and poetry and plays and join in.
