Are you an emerging poet living in the Greater Shepparton region? Ballarat Writers Inc invites submissions of your original work for the chance to win an online mentoring opportunity with poet Ross Donlon in late February. You must currently reside in Greater Shepparton and have had no more than 25 works published previously to be eligible.
Following the mentoring process, successful applicants will also have the opportunity to read their work in the Pure Poetry Recital, to be presented by Ballarat Writers Inc in the SheppARTon Festival this March. You will take to the stage with professional musicians to present the voice of the region alongside specially chosen musical works by Australian composers.
